What Does it Cost to Enter?
And more importantly, why does it cost anything at all!?
How much does it cost to enter?
We think we have some of the least expensive entry fees for any major international photography competition!
Main Competition
- $17 for 1 image
- $46 for 6 images
- $68 for 12 images
- $113 for 18 images
Project Category
- $34 entry for 6-10 images
- $68 entry for two projects, each 6-10 images
Where is my money going?
All contest proceeds will be used for the following purposes:
- Judges – we pay our judges well for their time and for the critique sessions they help to lead throughout the year.
- Book production – Each year we produce a high-quality fine-art book that costs over $25,000 to print.
- Limited overhead costs – including the website hosting, graphic design, etc.
- Marketing – predominantly social media advertising.
- Prizes – in 2025 we plan to distribute $16,500 in cash prizes to winners.
- Grant Program – in 2024, we gave away $5,000 to a grant applicant looking to embark on an environmental photography project.
