Description
To commemorate the success of our first year running the awards, we have created what we think is one of the finest compilations of landscape photography ever printed (we’re biased, sorry). This 220 page, large-format fine art book contains the work of over 120 artists. We have also commissioned four essays which are included in the book, discussing aspects of the eyewitness tradition of photography, the idea of representing the world around us with truth and honesty. We designed the book ourselves and it was printed through Jerry Greer’s company, Mountain Trail Press & Offset Lithography Solution.
Prices are in USD and will be converted automatically by our secure payment system to your currency upon check-out. Please note, some countries charge import VAT on books.

N.B. Some of the text has been obfuscated in the preview. The book will be considerably more legible 😉

A highly commendable collection of some of the best nature photographs and photographers of the era! The quality of the binding and printing is excellent. Each page is like a fine art print. Even the darkest images show every bit of detail. No, I’m not affiliated in any way. I’m just excited to have my copy of one of the best collections of nature photographs ever published

This last year I began collecting fine art photography books so every time I receive a new one I can compare it and tell if it’s as high quality as the others. I have to say this NLPA book is at the top of the list. The pages have a nice weight and feel to them and the image quality / color is outstanding. Considering how thick this book is, this is one of the best values you can get. You can really tell they took the time to make this book right and I look forward to diving into it more!

The founders of the Natural Landscape Photography Awards set a very steep challenge for themselves – creating a new competition that celebrated eyewitness photography that relied upon a photographer’s ability to capture the beauty inherent in the natural world rather than a talent for creating digital art through the use of Photoshop and other similar tools. The publication of “Natural Landscape Volume 1” is proof that the founders met that challenge. The photographs in the the book are simply stunning. The commentary in the book, both from the photographers themselves and the judges and organizers, provides a tremendous insight into the images. The quality of the printing and binding seems superior. The book will find a place on my bookshelf among my collection of fine art photography books, but not before I study it closely to learn all I can from it. Congratulations to the founders of the NLPA. I look forward to Volume 2.

I just received my gorgeous copy after many many months of waiting and even forgetting that I had jumped in on the pre-sale. It is an incredible value for the excellent quality and exquisite images. I am so looking forward to Volume 2! Every landscape photographer should own a copy. Thank you to the production individuals and the judges. Marvelous work! It will become my “bible” for landscape photography.

I have recently received my copy of this book and my initial impressions are that the quality and design are absolutely first class. The critiques of the photos and the insights from the contributing photographers are both insightful and informative. The images are superbly printed throughout the book. Highly recommended.

The book itself is of a very high quality, very varied, and this book will be on the table more than on the bookshelf. The only complaint is that it took a very long time to arrive, it was worth the wait. It is a pity that my book is damaged in the foil, there is a large dent on the front. I can understand that for year 2 a different partner has been chosen to ship, it is a lot of work, done by Tim and his family. Looking forward to part 2 year 2022. (note from organisers – a replacement has been offered since this comment)
